ISHMAEL OKEY CHIGBU, PH.D

Dr. Ishmael Okey Chigbu is a seasoned and dynamic automobile marketer and technocrat. He has well over three (3) decades of working experience in the automobile industry. He began his professional career in February 1980 with Volkswagen of Nigeria limited where he rose to the position of sales manager. He left Volkswagen of Nigeria limited in September, 1996 as the pioneer marketing and dealer development manager: before moving to Toyota Nigeria where he rose to general manager’s level before he disengaged from Toyota in July, 2006 to run his own company –ACEK AUTO COMPANY LTD.

Dr. Chigbu is a business graduate of university of Lagos (B.SC.-Business Admin) he also holds MBA in marketing from Lagos state university, M.Phil and Ph.D both in strategic management from Bacock University. He is also an associate member of Nigeria institute of marketing (NIM). Dr. Chigbu has attended various marketing and management courses within Nigeria including a course in the prestigious Lagos business school. As well as both within and outside the country. Dr. CHIGBU is a devoted Christian and is happily married with children.
