350 GIRLS RECEIVE SANITARY PADS AS THE WORLD MARKS MENSTRUAL HYGIENE DAY

May 28th of every year has been set aside as the World Menstrual Hygiene Day. This was a great opportunity for Cromaria Care Foundation to take the message of menstrual hygiene to several young girls in Lagos State.

Cromaraia Care Foundation organized a menstrual hygiene sensitization talk at Sonmori Comprehensive High School, Ifako Ijaiye, Lagos State. The program included a girls round table talk on the challenges faced by young girls in getting access to sanitary pads.

We also had educational interactive sessions, where we raised awareness about menstrual hygiene practices and provided information on proper usage and disposal of sanitary pads.

The highpoint of the event was the distribution of sanitary pads to over 350 female students, to help them manage menstrual cycles with confidence and dignity. Our goal is to empower these young girls and enable them pursue their educational goals without any hindrances, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
